Clinical Psychologist Hazal Avci
Clinical Psychologist Hazal Avcı graduated from the Izmir University of Economics Psychology undergraduate program as a high honor student; Afterwards, she received her Clinical Psychology Specialisation from Acıbadem University with distinction. Thesis topic is “The Predictive Effects of Personality Disorder Patterns and Emotion Regulation in Compulsive Sexual Behaviors"
She completed her compulsory internship in the field of clinical psychology in Manisa Mental Health Hospital in a rotational manner in the Forensic, Men's Health and In-patient units. In addition, she gained experience in the long-term hospital internship in the process of clinical psychology specialisation by working in various services such as Female Psychosis and Male Psychosis wards at Bakırköy Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Hospital.
As an active NGO volunteer, she took part in various projects within the Turkish Psychological Association and Turkish Psycho-Oncological Association. In addition, she provided online CBT oriented psychological support as part of the Student Session Support Project of the Bi'Şey Psychological Counseling and Education Center.
Clinical Psychologist Hazal Avcı currently works with adult clients, both online and face-to-face, at the OZ Psychology Family Counseling Center in Izmir.
